đŸ’„ Citizenfund funds 3 new impact startups

Citizenfund is pleased to announce investments in 3 new impact startups: Bulkbar, Novacitis and Coucou !

After convincing our selection committee, the 3 teams had the opportunity to present themselves to all our cooperators during an online event. The entrepreneurs played the game by presenting their projects and answering questions from the participants. The latter then had the opportunity to vote for 10 days on our website. The question was very simple: “Are you for or against the funding of Bulkbar, Novacitis and Coucou?

Bulkbar received 85% of positive votes, Novacitis 73% and Coucou 98%. Our co-operators had the last word: the three projects will therefore be financed by our impact investment fund.

“Through our investment, food and consumption choices, we vote several times a day, every day, for the kind of society and future we want to see. These three companies are all part of what we call the economy of the common good and intend to solve one or more problems linked to our production and consumption system. We, the Citizenfund cooperators, are responsible for these investment choices. Having our own judgement, sharing it, debating it, is the richness of Citizenfund and our use of collective intelligence.” Alain Boribon, co-founder of Citizenfund.

These three projects join the 12 startups previously funded by Citizenfund: urbike, Incredible Company, Wilfried, CinéCité, Give a Day, Happy Hours Market, Waio, NewB, BC Materials, Incofin, Entusia and Sonian Wood Coop.
