NEWSLETTER APRIL 2020

?️ Save the Date: 21 September 2020 : General Assembly

Normally scheduled for May 18, 2020, we have decided to postpone our Annual General Meeting to allow it to take place under the best possible conditions.

Therefore, please reserve the date of Monday, September 21, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in your calendar.

On the agenda: the usual formalities (approval of the accounts, discharge of the directors), but also decisions related to the life of the Citizenfund (members of the selection committee, business model, etc.).

? HackCovid : and the winners are… ?

The HackCovid, an online hackathon to think post-crisis, took place the week of April 13-17, 2020. The jury, of which Citizenfund was a member along with Change.Credal, Funds for Good, Solifin, OpenCollective, Trividend and Growfunding, elected the following projects:

  • Food : an integrated and inclusive agro-ecological food system and cooperative market.
  • Mobility : a platform to promote alternative mobility solutions and reward users.
  • ?Education : a school programme, focused on sustainable development objectives, for young people to learn more about citizen projects through practice.

Find all the pitches, questions/answers and the announcement of the results here. You can also find testimonials from participants and coaches on Matters’ Facebook Page.

The winning projects will be able, in due course, to go before the Citizenfund’s selection committee to apply for funding.
