The year 2020 will have been a special year, and we hope that you will still come out of it with a positive outlook! Let us note for example the strong increase of the local and circular economy, or, at our level, the arrival of 47 new cooperators who have invested in the new economy… 144.500 € !
💰 Our fundraising campaign
We started our campaign at the end of November with €171,250. A little over a month later, we are slowly approaching our goal of €300,000! Indeed, only €23,750 is still missing.

🚴♂️ On Saturday 13 December on RTBF Tipik, urbike was featured in the documentary “Le Monde Respire”. The trailer already makes your mouth water.
🥕 Incredible Company welcomed Jean-Pascal van Ypersele on his Incredible Oasis to remind us that every concrete gesture counts in the fight against climate change: the replay
📖 Wilfried published 2 issues in December: its 14th issue, a literature special with the family saga of the Nothombs, but also other great feathers in this winter trip, as well as a new survey on the Trilateral; and a luxury special issue 2020« Zones à défendre », dedicated to nature and ecology in Belgium.
🤝 At the beginning of December, a 20,000th volunteer registered on Give a Day !
🎞️ CinéCité launched the KinoKonfiné, as part of the European Gen Z project. This collaborative and participatory blog is aimed at those who want to share and communicate about cinema. It includes opinion articles, film reviews, photo reports, portraits, etc.
🚚 Just for the first week of December, 658 meals were distributed by Happy Hours Market to Brussels associations! Their Happy Truck now allows you to collect unsold food at half price at 5 locations: ULB, Ixelles Hospital, Matonge, the Parvis de Saint-Gilles and Forest National!
♻️ For Black Friday, Waio has decided to donate 1€ per order on Slow-Cosmétique.com to the Association for the Protection of Wild Animals. Result: €800 was donated to the association!
🏦 NewB has found its new CEO: Thierry Smets, who will replace Tom Olinger. NewB’s social and environmental charter was also approved at their last general meeting. The new accounts are currently being tested!
🧱 BC Materials wins a Henry van de Velde Award. Ils avaient déjà They had already won the Pioneer Award 2020 at the Belgian Building Awards and was the only Belgian company to be honoured at the World Economy Forum 2020 as one of the 39 global companies with the most inspiring circular practices.
💰 Incofin cvso continues to do its job: investing in and supporting small entrepreneurs. Current investments reach 3.5 million micro-entrepreneurs through 41 partner organisations in 27 countries. Even in these times, Incofin continues to invest in its partner organisations and continues to focus on appropriate technical assistance.
🌳 Sonian Wood Coop has reached the European Commission: 1,194,758 people have signed a petition calling for strong European legislation to protect the world’s forests. The message was engraved on a precious piece of local wood from… the Sonian Forest!
🩲 We have started discussions with other Entusia investors to make our investment a reality as soon as possible.
